The JT Dash camera Models rear camera is unwaterproof, and you can't mount it on the outside of the rear of your car.
For recording video time, you can choose one minute, three minutes, or five minutes.

As our dashcam has a loop recording function, the storage card will automatically delete the first recorded content after it is full to provide storage space for new videos, which can solve the problem of insufficient storage space. So you don't need to delete the video manually. However, we recommend that you save important videos on your computer or phone to avoid being overwritten by new videos. Note: Formatting the SD card will delete all videos.
The dash camera’s parking monitoring mode allows the dashcam to record video even when the car is turned off. This feature is available after installing the dedicated hardware kit or OBD cable.
> Parking Monitor – When your car is turned off, this feature automatically activates the dash camera if it detects any impact or attempts to open the car, ensuring your vehicle remains protected even when you're away.
> Time Lapse – While the car is off, the dash camera continues recording at a lower frame rate. This saves memory on the SD card while still capturing essential footage.

In order to avoid new videos not being saved when the memory card is full and to avoid the need to manually format the memory card to delete videos frequently, The dashcam has loop-recording mode enabled by default. In this mode, the recording time of each video can be manually set to 1 min, 3 min or 5 min, and when the memory card is full, the new video will automatically overwrite the old one to realize loop-recording.
You can select your preferred recording duration—1 minute, 3 minutes, or 5 minutes. The dash cam features loop recording, meaning once the memory card is full, it will automatically overwrite the oldest footage to make room for new recordings, effectively preventing storage issues. However, keep in mind that longer recording times result in fewer stored videos, which may get overwritten quickly, potentially causing the loss of important footage.
When you open the menu and make sure that the audio option is turned on, it can record with audio.
With the G-sensor, the dashcam will automatically record an emergency video and save it in locked file when it detects that the vehicle has been collided. The sensitivity of the G-sensor can be adjusted in the menu
Because the WiFi is mainly used for data transfer and does not have internet access. So WiFi will show no network after connection. But the APP is able to use normally.
1) TURN OFF your smartphone’s Bluetooth and Cellular Data.
2) Try to connect by making a Wifi connection
3) If your phone again makes a connection with wireless CarPlay, then forget the CarPlay Wifi and Bluetooth connection for one time. Your smartphone can make only 1 connection at a time. Your CarPlay Wifi connection is preventing your smartphone from making a connection with the Dash Camera. See the tutorial video.
It may be caused by the memory card speed problem, it is recommended to format the memory card in the settings to see if the problem can be improved or change a high speed card.
This is because the SD card got corrupted. Replace with a High Speed Card Class 10 and U30
